Its on the sellers website, I have same system but my docking station has high pitched sound coming from under it....no idea why, so annoying and manual doesn't say how to fix, but here is link to manual........http://www.ihomeaudio.com/media/uploads/product/files/iH52_IB36272_81_1.pdf

According to the manual the iHome IP90 line does not have a programmable remote. Have you checked the battery in the remote? It requires a CR2025 battery. The remote also has a 30ft. range, not sure if you are trying it at a further distance.

In any case, first thing I would do is to get a replacement CR2025 battery and give that a shot. If that doesn't work then the remote might be defective.

Look at the Box and the Manual! 3rd Generation is not supported by iH9! Clearly marked on the Manual.
