Hi, my bar uses the CASIO TK-7000 till. I have just reprogrammed all the PLU prices and descriptions but I don't know how to allocate the PLUs to the correct departments so that my end of the day readout (z function) shows me how much I have sold in each department e.g. beer, bottle beers, spirits etc.
The manual doesn't seem to cover this at all but obviously I know it can be done. My predecessor also has no idea how he did it!
Please help!!!!
Take a readout of the department and groups first
pgm6
205 subtotal
1 cash 30 cash
this will print out your departments
pgm6
206 subtotal
this will print out your groups
pgm3
1166 subtotal
enter your 6 digit number then press all the products linked to that department / group
your 6 digit number = DDGG00 DD= Department GG= Group
then 00
so for dept 1 gp 1 = 010100
when finished
press subtotal
sorry about that.
when you turn the key to pgm the display reads pgm1
to get to the other pgm's enter the pgm number and press subtotal
so turn the key to PGM
enter 3 and press Subtotal the display will read PGM3
so turn the key to PGM
enter 6 and press Subtotal the display will read PGM6
as for your Cash button taking 3p off the amount due, simple
turn the key to PGM
enter 0 (zero)
press the Cash button
press Subtotal
turn the key back to Reg

Thanks very much for that it all seemed to make sense...however I have a couple of questions...
pgm3 & pgm6 you mean when the key is set to PGM have it set to Clerk 3 and clerk 6?
Also I've managed to somehow reset the total key so that it now has a value, now when I hit total after putting in some drinks it just takes 0.03 off the total repeatedly until the buffer becomes full! (or I hit cheque instead. Any idea what I have done and how I can reset it back to normal?
Thanks so much for your help with that, it's amazing how unhelpful the actual manuals can be!!! Thanks again
