Installed a new control board in GE dishwasher: GLD6860NSS. Still having problems!
With 10 minutes remaining in a cycle, the dishwasher began beeping every few seconds. In order to get the beeping to stop we had to kill it at the breaker. When we turned it back on from the breaker the Start/Reset light would blink and the buttons were unresponsive.
It was suggested that we replace the Control Panel. We did that with the same issue. Next was to replace the Control Board. We replaced that and now it's all haywire. We managed to get it to run a short cycle and thought all was good. Then the lights went out and it was unresponsive again. I'm assuming something must be loose but we can't figure out what. One minute it's fine the next it's not.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the led lights are fused to the circuit board. Sounds like the circuit board is going or gone bad. I'm not sure because you did not give the model of the dishwasher.
Most of the control lights are led and do not go bad. But the circuit board that controls the lights can go bad. You may be able to fix the control circuit board but replacing it would be easier.
When I start a new cycle, I first hear the pump run to empty out all
remaining water, and after that I hear the motor run for the regular
washing cycle, but there is no water in the dishwasher. After a few
minutes, the cycle stops, and the washer claims the dishes are 'clean'.
When I try starting a new cycle over and over again, about one in 20
times, the cycle will run normally with water. But then the next time,
the problem starts all over again. Once a cycle starts correctly,
everything works fine, including the rinsing.
We usually see F7 caused by a failure in the keypad (stuck key) and F1 caused by a failure in the control board (clock). This seems opposite to your experience. I would suggest first to power down the oven, unplug the keypad from the control board, power up the oven with the keypad unplugged. Give it some time (may take as much as 30 minutes or so), if no F1 error then problem is likely the keypad. If you still get an F1, then the problem is the control board and you should return it. If you still have trouble post your model number. Regards, www.fixyourboard.com
I bought a new one and installed it myself. hardest part of installing was taking the old unit out. I compared the cost of a second repair of a 10 year old dishwasher vs. purchasing a new one. We also checked the pump and solenoid to find problems that caused the water not to enter the unit. The new one we purchased is much better, quieter, and Energy Star.
Mine was doing the same thing. It was eligible for a recall.

My delay start switch does not work and the dishwasher beeps periodically throughout the day. Also, I have it set for a 109 minute cycle and after about 20 minutes it says that I only have 35 minutes left in the cycle! Any suggestions?
