My ac went bad about year ago what other parts do I have to replace

You should have checked for voltage at the blower motor connector before replacing the motor .Could have a bad blower motor resistor, this part controls the different speeds . Have you checked for blown fuses ? There could be a bad blower motor relay ! Need to know year an make an model to check out wiring diagram to see what is involved in this circuit !

In the two years since it last worked the gas pressure could have fallen so now it won't work and wouldn't have worked if you hadn't borrowed the relay.

Hi, no, they are not related. The oxygen sensor(s) are part of the ignition/emissions sytem and help regulate fuel flow/mixture. The A/C system is self contained and does not affect other engine systems. Mike

If you dual climate control sounds like it the mode door actuator that controls driver and passenger temp. If it went bad again then there is something wrong with the mode door itself causing the actuator to short out

most likley the bearing in the ac clutch went out . on that year of a car you may be able to find a used ac compressor . you can change the ac clutch but there is some special tools you will need for that . u may be able to get from autozones loan a tool program

could be 3 things. The fuse, the motor, or the resistor. Just because it was replaced doesn't mean it won't go bad. It went bad the 1st time. Fuse is more common. As is the resistor, oh and a 4th item...the relay.. Rare for that one to go out though.

Well Take it back tothe shop who fixed it and make them pay the tow if they can't get it right. a computer is an expensive fuse. And you have a bad ground somewhere, on the motor or frame to the motor or computer to frame and it needs to be tested, if it shows more than.2 on the ohm meter you have a problem, that year could even have a bad ac compressor. If it has a quad driver in the computer that could be your problem and the ground on the ac is bad, in 87 the computers could not take 1 amp draw and if the ground is bad it could cause the computer to draw more than it can handle, I would think the mechanics would have checked this but just in case ask them. Also a bad ground cable from the engine to frame can do the same thing. If I am not mistaken it used a GM computer back then, just like a lot of other parts that came from other manufactures.

If the compressor has gone bad again, it may be because the system didn't get flushed properly when it was first replaced or oil was not added. Before being done again, it must be flushed. This can only be done using special tools and materials. If you have that done, then you must replace the receiver/dryer, associated seals, refill the system with right amount of compressor oil, the compressor of course and then recharge the system. This is all assuming there are no leaks in the lines or the evaporator and condenser.

Most likely your problem is the fuel sending unit in the fuel tank mounted with the fuel pump assy. The symptoms might let the gauge sit on or work intermittently then is goes to empty. DON'T let the dealer tell you its only replacable by changing the whole fuel assy.(400.00). This is not true. Look up your vehicle on the AC Delco web site at the top of the page click the link for part look up, it will ask you the year, style, eng size, etc. then you look at fuel , the part is actually called TBI Fuel Meter. If your truck is a 5.7 your part is #17113274 (around $100.00). This is a actual GM part number, some are the AC Delco part number that may have 2 letters and 4 digits, the dealer can cross reference it or order the AC Delco part. This kit comes with a new wiring harness, and instructions. Having said this the other symptom you may have is the gauge goes past full, this is because of a bad ground, most likely around fuel tank. I have replaced approx 6 of these sensors in GM vehicles( 2 of the same year and make as yours) in the last year, its cheap design lets it fail easily.
