Error - 'Return Code 99 on Script FA_Reinitialize_SQL_Indexes' occurs when during new install of Fixed Assets.
Resolution
Check the Fixed Assets path, it may be incorrect. To do this, follow these steps.
1. Go to File ' Maintenance ' Pathnames.
2. Note the Pathname for the Dynamics/eEnterprise Product.
3. Change the Product to Fixed Assets and the Series to Financial.
4. The Pathname for the Fixed Assets product should be the same as the Pathname when the Dynamics/eEnterprise Product is selected.
5. If they are not the same, change the Fixed Assets path to be the same as the Dynamics/eEnterprise path (for example: COMPANYNAME\dbo\).
hope it helps
Err - 99 is one of the most frustrating messages a
photographer can get because it basically means "there's something
wrong, I'm not sure what it is, but something is definitely wrong". The
error 99 code is a multi use code that Canon uses to alert you that
there is a problem without specifics. I've gotten it on both my Canon
bodies and each time I'd pull my battery and then replace it after a few
moments and the problem resolved, but that is for me. I did notice that
when I would get it my battery was usually getting flat. Once I cleaned
the battery contacts on both bodies the error has not come back.
Some people have also gotten error 99 with a bad card, with a bad
connection to a lens or grip but also to more serious problems, too.Your
best bet is to take a pencil eraser and clean all your metal contacts
(which you have already done) to see if it aleviates the problem. If you
have more than one lens try changing lenses and see if you get it with
all your lenses. Keep track of whether you get the error with all lenses
or just one as it could be a lens that is causing the problem.
I
notice that you removed the batteries. If you would try that again also
pulling the card, but leave out for at least 20 minutes. This will give
time for the capacitor to discharge all the electricity it's storing so
that everything resets. Replace the battery only and test. If resolved
then replace the card and test again.
Also clean your card and the slot compartment. You can do the card by
wiping with a soft dry cloth and the compartment by using a
card slot cleaner
If you are still getting an error it's time to have a repairman examine your camera body for further investigation.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
