Definate power issue. If you want to fix it yourself out of warranty, you have got nothing ot lose. Open the camera and look for the PC board. Look for writing on the board that says Fxxx 2.0amp or anything that says "amp" or "A" as in amp rating of a fuse. Look closely at the component that the writing is by and it should look like a tiny little rectangle with a stripe in the middle. The stripe is the fuse material that is blown and you need to bridge the ends with a conductive material, like a piece of solder melted across the fuse material, called "solder bridging" or even some conductive paint that you buy at the auto parts store that fixes the broken defroster lines in a windshield. It is copper colored and costs about $8.00. Once the fuse is bridged, the camera should work, but it may cause a larger problem. But hey, you got a brick anyway so give it a go!
The
battery compartment is corroded. clean it.
You must be sure the battery is FULL charge, or replace by new one.
Try again.
If the problem persist the problem in the power supply inside see the b.diagram
God bless you
