Weedeater featherlite 1500 blower ran fine until neighbor used it--- said it got hot. Now will not start. I tried squirting some fuel into sparkplug hole which didn't help. It seems that the plug has some spark (although, may not be enough). With full choke, priming with bulb, and many pulls on starter rope, it does "hit" at all.
Suggest , Clean Spark plug with Gas and wire brush.... drain all gas, add new gas with correct gas:oil mixture..... spray Gumout/Carb cleaner in air intake and spark plug hole.. these are the easy solutions to try.. good luck -Doug
First never let any one browe your tools or your wife thay could break eather of them noe get a small screwdriver find the air adjutment screw on carb turn it in count the turns till it stops then pull it out by turning it counter clock wise dont louse any spring that might be there its out get carburator chock cleaner use the little tube put it in hole were the screw lived at and let it have a good blast or 2take out spark plug and pullthr start rope 10 or 15 times put plug back put air screw back 1 3/4 out from bouttom i think if you had dif number try it first if that dont fix it you may need to take carburator off take it apart and clean there is two gas lines that go to tank if one of the lines has a filter on it inside the tank if thay get water in there threeeere pluged up might get new one there fun to get out of tank or take to shop if you dont have all the tools or homedepo and buy good luck

when dripping gas into plug hole-it will run a few seconds and stop.
need help.
I have replaced the spark plug and refreshed the gas in the tank....to be exactly the oil/mix required for two cylcle engines....and when I spray the carborator cleaner into the air inlet(choke)... it works for a little while but to keep it running...I have to keep spaying.
So I will try again next weekend
Thanks.
