Well the card may first of all, be to dusty.If you blow on it, it might work if it still doesnt.Then you might have a card to big which looks like it fits but doesn't, or you might have to small of a card and you are just craming it in there.If it still doesn't work like my camera did it might need to be taken and gotten clean for about $15 to 30 dollars because you are suppost to do that every month if you use it a lot or every other month if you dont use it a lot.So those are some good reasons why your camera might say no card present.I hope I at least helped a little.

On the screen I take it. But get a print or view images in computer to check how far this goes. It will need to go back to Nikon for a fix though.
