Remove disc and try another and or clean the disc--if all now will not work either a dirty of a failed Optical pickup in the unit.

After reviewing the repair and owners manuals. I have come to the conclusion that there is a short in the power supply board. Your drives should be fine. I don't know off hand how expensive it is to fix in your area. I would say approx $200

Either the HD is bad or you will need to reinstall the O.S. /firmware.

make sure that you have a good power source and cables first.
it seems that a filter cap is not doing what it is supposed to do. which one, i don't know.
you could try to format the HD and update the latest firmware/OS and see if that does the trick. next , if you have new/er harddrive, you could switch it out.

What does FS error 050 mean?

It's a File System error on the Hard Disk. I think the only solution may be to reformat the disk. If you're only getting this on one track on one playlist, you may be able to access the other playlists to burn all other tracks to CD so you don't lose them

Playlist exceeds disk space will not allow to create cd

Delete tracks from the playlist to bring the total time to less than the maximum available on the CD. If you're trying to write a redbook CD this will be just under 80mins, less if you're using higher sample rates and CD24 discs.

To delete a Track from a playlist, you must currently have that Track selected in the display. Pressing the DEL TRACK button will cause a confirm delete page to be displayed,where "Song 01" is the name of the Track to be deleted. Pressing UP/YES will remove that Track from the playlist, moving the next Track in the playlist in its place. Pressing DOWN/NO will cancel the operation and return the unit to its previous state.

NOTE: Deleting a Track from a playlist does not delete the audio samples from the hard disk. The audio remains on the disk in an "Audio File"

When I try to play a C.D. on my system it gives me the following information. FRMTREAD, Error 15. What does this mean and what do I do to correct this problem? My system is a DEH2000MP S.N....

Consult your owner's manual for error codes. You have a disk/disk reader problem. A similar model Pioneer Manual indicates FRMTREAD as what is displayed while reading a disk. Error 15 equates to "The inserted disk does not contain any data". If this occurs with multiple disks, try the disks in a known good cd player. If they work there, it is likely a reader problem (alignment, bad reader, etc.) which would likely not be worth repairing or replacing in that unit.
