Through trial and error on fairly new Poulin Pro, found that the usual 3-half turns for both high and low was too much (flooded) (Used to be good starting point on weed eaters years ago. So, turned both all the way in, and only backed out 1-full turn. (2-halves) Saw fired up perfectly, and ran wide open just fine. Try that.

Wild thing chainsaw won't stay running. I replaced all fuel lines, primer bulb, fuel filter, gaskets to the carb. and have cleaned the carb out very well and blew out all passages. I pulled the spark...

On the carburetor got two screws to adjust the carburetor. The first is to adjust the saw when working at high speeds. Another is when running at low revs. It is best to either put back for about 1.5 cycle of the maximum of the end of the rotation of the screws. If then the saw starts, then you can adjust it fine at higher revs (H), then at low (L). Have can be minimum screw that stops the chain.

My poulan wild thing 2375 bogs out when throttle

Make sure that the air cleaner and muffler are not plugged. Check the carburetor screws and nuts for tightness. After turning both needles CW to stops (lightly), back them out CCW 1-1/2 turns each. Start the engine and allow to warm up. Open the throttle and adjust the H needle CW somewhat until the engine speeds up, but is 4-stroking. Correct adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Release the throttle and adjust L CW till the engine runs fairly smoothly, but allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Set the idle speed screw so that the chain doesn't turn, but the engine keeps running. Hope this helps!

Carb adjustment for a Poulan Wild thing 2375

Start at 1.5 CCW from lightly seated then tune for performance like this:
Carburetor Adjustment by Madsens.com
http://www.madsens1.com/saw%20carb%20tune.htm
CW is leaner; to lean will destroy the saw. If over tightened closed (CW) the adjustment screw faces are easily marred; marred adjustments are difficult to impossible to set properly.
Clean the air filter; adjusting with a dirty filter can cause a run lean condition once cleaned and the saw run.

There are 2 wav (sound - idle & full – may not be highlighted) files that I find most helpful, I think you will too. HTH

How to set carborator adjustment on Poulan Wild Thing 2375?

hello, the starting point for adjustment screws is 2 turns out.turn in til lightly seated so as not to damage them. there are 2 or more style carbs used on saw, some have plastic caps that need to be removed(a small metal screw used as a corkscrew or pry off) or you need a special tool -splined.set high spped til runs good and back off an 1/8-1/4 turn so you dont burn it up. fine tune low spped so it accelerates when trigger squeezed and re check high speed adjustment.single screw is for idle spped-raises or lowers-if chain turns while at idle back off screw.

What is the "T" adjustment on my Poulan Wild Thing?

The "T" position is just a mechanical stop for the Throttle.  It adjusts the idel speed by keeping the throttle from closing all of the way.  The "H" and "L" screws adjust carburator jets that feed the motor at High and Low speeds.

Adjust high low screws on carb.

I just finished looking at mine and I think they made it that way so back yard mechanics dont tinker with it. If there is a Poulan dealership in yout area that would be the place to get it.

Poulan Wild Thing starts great but as soon as I try to cut it die

The carb low idle needs to be adjusted this is fairly common among the Poulan chain saws. Once you adjust the low idle from factory setting it will work
