When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermaloverload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is theproblem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make surethe vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed airto do this.

My rome total war game keeps shuting down every few minutes, what is wrong?

Sounds like a bad graphics card in the computer. Verify that the fan on the graphics card is actually turning, it may be heating up and shutting down.

I have a 2002 saturn and it starts fine but it keeps shuting off after a few seconds so i tryed the key trick and its still the same what can i try next

What is this key trick? I would guess this is fuel pressure related. Check for fuel pressure after it shuts down. You should find something similar to a bike tire inflation valve. By pressing the needle, fuel should SPRAY out. Take caution to protect your eyes, and be careful to not start a fire.

Motor shuts down when reaching normal operation temp

Sounds like the mass air flow sensor or the air intake temperature sensor. Sometimes just wiping out the throttle body/air intake can make all the difference

Hi i have just got a new Pavilion DV7 only a few weeks old on boot/start up it starts then goes off several times before it starts to load windows the fan starts and the lights come on then goes off...

Run CHKDSK/F to check for errors. There may be an error on the hard drive.
Closing the lid when closing down, puts it in sleep mode and it will restart much easier but the error should be removed.

My 2002 trailblazer is starting but she shuts down after a few seconds. i changed the fuel filter and she ran for some time but then after a whole day she kept on shuting down again

Fuel contamination.

If you extract the intank pump assembley ( you can access this under the seat trim / carpet) you will find a filter sock. It may look clean but sounds like it is blocked. Try running it briefly without the sock to see if it improves, if yes then replace it.. you can get them seperate.

C-tree(r) error #7716 and shuting down

Hello,

This is not a windows error.
It looks like some 3rd party application that is using the C-Tree programming language.
Most likely it will be your logitech product.

In order to solve this please start windows in safe mode pressing F8 at the computer start.
As soon as your logged in go to Start-Run.
There you have to type MSCONFIG.

Another window opens, go to the startup tab and uncheck some items to get a clean boot.

If you have some logitech product installed in that menu try unchecking it.

If you need further assistance please don't hesitate and contact me.

Hope it helped.
