Starting problem Car is hard to start in mornings and after being stopped for some period of time. It has been going on now for several months now and seems to be getting worse. When it does, start it sputters and takes a minute to idle smooth. I saw on line where someone had a similar situation and they said to try turning the key on/off several times tryting to build up pressure in the fuel line, but it still sputters and is hard to start.
Sensor on top of cylinder head for the cold start ,with engine in front of you right side of head at the front there are two sensors ,cant remember if its the first one or the second one though

The way to test a fuel pump is to put a pressure gauge on it in the morning when it is cold when you have the problem. If the pressure is low then your fuel pump isn't working when it is energized.
If it is high, but it is still hard to start, look at a fuel injector being plugged up.
If your check engine light is on, take the car to your local auto parts superstore and have them scan for the fault codes. Usually it is free. The fault code will tell you where to start to solve the problem. Hope this helps.
Have your battery checked, overnight is the longest period of it standing without recharging while running. Then have your fuel system checked as well for moisture or clogging, try an injector cleaner
Check the power to the cold start injector. (it's only going to have fire for a few sec. after the key is turned on). If the fire is good, replace the cold start injector. This injector is activated for a few seconds when the engen temp is low to add a little fuel lower down in the intake and closer to the pistons.
