Fujitsu t-900 can't get wireless internet

Wored or wireless? Try a Ethernet cable. Need more info.

Depending on your model Fujitsu and OS, which you failed to mention. Open the Network Adapter , Via Network Sharing Center, Change Adapter Settings. It could be a switch, or Fn Key? Go to www.ebay.com Type make and model of laptop, refine search to wireless card.

Have you tried turning it on manually? Look on both sides and in front of the laptop for the switch.

Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look on both sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.

Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can toggle the wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function key located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will display Wireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

If you are trying to connect to a free WiFi network site try the Airport. Macdonalds, Starbucks etc.
The wireless networks in your area are most likely private wireless networks and if you find one within wireless range you most likely cannot connect into this network without the owner's permission because the connection will be encryption protection (they would need to give you this encryption key).

Maybe the wireless card in the laptop is no good or not strong enough to receive a good strong signal. Try sitting close to the wireless router and see if it loses connection. Does it connect at all and let you on the internet before it loses the signal? If it does not connect at all I'd say you might have an issue with the password or the type of wireless security protocol type you selected to connect with. For example there are different types of wifi security protocol types: (Ex. wep, wpa, wpa2) .

I'm not sure where the switch is but to enable the wireless connection, you could go to the control panel>network and internet, in the left hand menu choose, Change adapter settings, right click on your wireless network connection and click enable.

Plug your modem up to your phone line & plug in the power cord. If you are using an ethernet cable its should plug into the modem and into your computer. If you are connecting wirelessly, make sure you card has a wireless network card or that you have a wireless adapter. If it still doesn't work you may have to call you internet provider to make sure the modem settings correct.

Do a windows update to recover a more up to date driver for the wireless. If not go to Fujitsu's website and download a windows 7 up to date wireless network driver

Tyr pressing Fn and f1 button or the combination or Fn and F2 it will turn the wireless ON on the laptop, then you will be able to see your router or modem's wireless connection and will be able to connect
