search google or another search engine for a website where you can get the unlock code for the phone. it's usually 20 bucks...but some carriers give you the unlock code for free if you email them depending on if you're a customer or not

LOL! yo u know i had the same problem, leave your phone charging in a cold place dont put it in the fridge tho .. like leave it sitting in one spot for ages but no longer than 6 hours, then plug in the slide it up and then hold the on botton, but i may warn u, u can only use your phone when u slide it not when its in brick mode.. okay ?

all you other guys if you dont know type 2945#*71001# on the keypad this then brings up sim unlock screen (or something like that) then all you need is the password. which as of yet i havent found :(
