It may be difficult to find a replacement FDD (floppy disk drive) unit for a Mitsubishi system, as floppy disk drives are no longer commonly used in modern computer systems.
One option you could try is to search online marketplaces, such as eBay or Amazon, for a used or refurbished FDD unit that is compatible with your system. You may also be able to find a replacement unit through a specialist computer repair shop or electronics store.
Alternatively, you may want to consider upgrading to a more modern form of storage for your systems, such as a USB flash drive or a hard drive. These options may offer more capacity and faster data transfer speeds than a floppy disk drive.
I hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Is there a driver for an LS 120 FDD?

The LS-120 (also known as the SuperDisk) is a type of floppy disk drive that was popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It is a high-capacity floppy disk drive that is capable of reading and writing to both standard 1.44 MB floppy disks and its own proprietary 120 MB SuperDisks.
If you are looking for a driver for an LS-120 floppy disk drive, it is likely that you will need to use a driver specifically designed for this type of drive. The driver will allow your computer to recognize and communicate with the LS-120 drive, allowing you to read and write to floppy disks using the drive.
To find a driver for an LS-120 floppy disk drive, you may want to check the manufacturer's website or search online for a driver specifically designed for this type of drive. Some common manufacturers of LS-120 drives include Iomega, Mitsubishi, and NEC.
I hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions.

What is floppy disks .and how its working.amd what is its usesatll m urgent.ok

Old PC and Laptop used to have software and device driver delivered on low capacity (usually 1.44MB 3.5 in) 'Floppy' disk diskette (FDD):

'A floppy disk is a data storage medium that is composed of a disk of thin, flexible ("floppy") magnetic storage medium sealed in a square or rectangular plastic carrier lined with fabric that removes dust particles'.

Newer machines usually will not come with FDD drive as we now use CD or DVD or even external USB stick/storage instead. If a FDD is required, you can get an external USB connected FDD as a standard FDD drive will require the support of a specific FDD adapter.

Hope it clarify your question.

How to remove write protection in my USB?

if it is really a case with external floppy drive...

check the FDD first .

a 3.5 in FDD has asmall **** to be turned up and down that makes a small rectangular hole Visible/Invisible- THis is the write protection for FDD.

similarly with a 5 in FDD which hardly may be the case,
a sticker has to be attached on small cut in any of the 4 rectangular edges you may find.

its nothing to do with the Floppy drive.

I want to convert to usb drive a model pa2669u fdd . are there any converting cables for this? thanks joe shimchick

Thats looks like a proprietary connector, you will not find a cable that will convert that fdd to USB, sorry :|
Anyway I doubt the cable would be much cheaper than a new USB external FDD.

Can't boot from FDD after upgrading bios. to version p20

log in to the BIOD using the DEL button (most likely unless it says otherwise at the boot window), then you can change the boot sequence to have the FDD as the first boot drive.
