A kindle doesn't use bluetooth, it uses WiFi. They are two different things. In order to use WiFi you need a wireless router. If you are having trouble connecting to a wireless router make sure you enter the password in your kindle in the correct case since the passwords are case sensitive.
Internet connections can fail at any point from service provider to your iPad. Just being connected to a wifi network doesn't necessarily mean you still have full internet access. Your modem could be frozen and your wifi router would still seem to be fully functional. Try opening your ipad's web browser and bringing up a couple websites. If you can not get any websites loaded, try troubleshooting your wifi. But if they do load, then yes, you are indeed connected to the internet, and I would recommend restarting the iPad and trying again.
Your WiFi router uses your Internet connection.
So, are you paying some ISP for a "one-megabit-per-second" service, or for 5 or 10 or 25 or 50 or 100 Mb/second service?
Also, some web-sites cannot "push" out data faster than 3 Mb/second (the Adobe site from where you can download Adobe Reader is one such site). So, no matter how fast your connection is, the download speed is limited to the speed of the web-server at the other end.
do a factory reset, then do the updates. if the last owner "unlocked" it, a whole differant route needs to be taken. if you cant access anything, you got nothing to loose.
well there are many reasons 1.the network you try to connect with your wifi doesn't have an internet acces on it 2.it has an internet access but it's limited,it's just like you can't access it because there are another user that's already use the network well, correct me if i'm wrong,i'm still studying this WIFI stuff, heheh
first you need to have a wifi network and have to connect it to the internet. Then on your eouter setting you set up a password. After that you go into the kindle's setting look for your wifi acces point name and type the password you create on the router and it should work
First try to reset network settings by going to Settings, General, Reset then reset network settings
If you still cannot connect, try this other solution:
You can try changing the dns on your wifi connection. Go to Settings > Wifi > Select the network you are connecting to then change the dns settings to 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4
