Did you press the trigger? If so, does it make any noise or does it not respond at all? If it does make noise, but won't spray, it could be a clog. Go to the vac shop to have it removed if you don't know how to take it apart yourself (I wouldn't risk it)

if it makes no noise, then check the electrical connection. if it's secure, then it is an electrical problem you're dealing with. get it fixed by the shop is the best i can suggest for this, as i wouldn't risk opening it up yourself (they do make it pretty tricky for do-it-yourselfers).

New replacement pump on Bissell ProHeat Protech not working

Not sure if I have the same model but this is what I found on mine this morning - wire to switch in the handle came off. Un-plug power cord. Unscrew top two screws on upright handle and remove the front cover above the trigger. see if wires are connected. top connector is not used - if you do solution will spray all the time. Good luck!

Water wont spray out of bottom carpet cleaner but will out of the scrubbing hose

First try putting in a little hot water in the water resevoir , let sit for about about 5 mins. then try it. if this doesn't work, flip the machine over and locate the spray jets on the bottom. You'll need a pin or something small enough to clean out the jets bye sticking pin or paperclip in it . Detegent left in the machine sometimes cloggs the jets.Empty water before you flip the machine over.

Can't get water to spray out of the hand tool nozzle

When you attach the main suction hose to the front of the machine, you also have to connect the soultion hose to a valve located on the side of the machine. When the machine is running, take a small screwdriver and depress the centre of this valve. You should get a spray of water out of the valve which will confirm the valve and pump is working. Now, connect the small solution hose, making sure you push it on all the way. When you pull the trigger on the handle of the hose, you should get spray. If it does not, you may have a plugged nozzle sprayer.
