Verify you have hydrolic fluid in the pump. Check to see if you have hydrolic fluid leaking from the hydrolic rams on the lower unit. The seals on the rams could be bad.
what hydraulic fluid are you trying to add gearbox of the lifting gear ?? if the lifting gear i think its under the engine cover but its been 40 yrs since i done one
Check your hydrolic fluid to be sure there's enough to operate the steering, if it's full I would suspect the hydrolic pump the powers the steering has either gone bad or frozen up.
bleed the hydrolic lines empty buy 2 can of hydrolic fluids from lexus i think one should do it dough but u can buy 2 just in case replace fluids and u should be fine if not you can check ure accumulators or the sensers that can cause a bouncy ride too
I had the same problem but weirdly enough I topped up my Hydrolic fluid and it suddenly stop flashing
Perhaps it is a short circuit on my Audi 2.6 E Cabriolet or it actually picks up both brake fluid and Hydrolic fluid with the same light
i going to assume that yr tractor does have the hydrolic p.t.o. that controls the drive and cutting mechanism's???... if so you might start with checking the hydrolic fluid in the resevior. or you might check into replacing the hydrolic p.t.o. pump , if you ran the tractor in heavy work without any hydrolic fluid in the p.t.o. pump the pump is probably burnt up. if so im sure you can beat the cost of a new pump by rebuilding it yrself with a kit.
