My phone would not turn on, I took it to the telecom shop and they kept it for a day, they then said they could not fix it they would have to send it away and it would cost NZ$140. I went home and installed the CD that came with the phone onto my computer and followed the instructions. I removed the sim card and memory card. I used the usb cord and plugged the other end into my phone. Within half an hour my phone was working again. I hate to think all the people that pay to get their phone fixed or throw it away because it will not turn on.

this problem is due the sim space may be u have 32k or16 k sim . so memory is nt enough to save all the contacts - so do these things to solve ur problem .. 1) if u have an alternative sim which is 64 k sim then copy all the contacts in that sim then transfer them to ur required phone afterwards ... 2) if u any other alternate phone than transfer half the contacts in first atempt than transfer rest the contacts in other atempt...

When you connect the usb to the pc.....the phone should be asking if to do "transfer pictures".
select transfer pictures and a folder will be on you pc....select that

hello, hearing your story I can only say that your was not unlocked or can't be unlocked depends if for example was it an offer?
Or they did not have the unlocking program for the phone
