Having problems with 99 regal passkey lock. its getting worse fast. it had a new ignition key tumbler 2 years ago but i dont know if they changed the passkey wire can i bypass it?

yes you can, fist locate the wire that goes to the key resistance, you are going to bypass it whit the resistence of a ignition wire, cut the wire in difrent lengts less than a foot, this makes difrent resistence values, put them to the wire on the car to find the one that will ignite the car.

I have a 2000 civic si. I had a problem with my battery so I replaced it. Still went bad. Replaced alternator, still went bad. Have no clue now. What might I b missing?

Did the battery go bad or down? Batteries fail if their overcharged, not charged, or dragged down from sitting with a draw on them. The altenater may not work correctly as a fuse may be blown. The big power wire on the back of the altenater is hot all the time the battery is connected. Make sure that it is. The plug that plugs into the altenator one wire hot all the time and the other is on with the key if itdoes'nt do that your on the serch to do that. with a volt OHM meter you can tell if it's charging 14.5 volts running and 12.6 volts sitting with the key off. if the battery is below 10 volts the altanator may be a good one but it's smart enough to not to try to charge a dead battery so it won't turn on. The liklyhood of the battery being bad even with it new is possible so don't rule that out.

My 2005 ford explorer the charging system light comes on when i get over 2000 rpms.. i put a test light on altenator wire that comes from the altenator to the battery. and accelerated the the vehicle while...

the alternator bushing is worn and failing when the alternator reaches over 2000 rpm it basically does not contact the bushings any longer and will not make contact, make sure the belt is not slipping, other than putting a load test on the alternator to verify that it is working properly, as it may be the gauge. A test light will not help. A battery alternator tester is relatively cheep, even a corner garage may have one and help you out. Being an 05 it is completely possible that is the alternator all together.

How to put on an alternator

disconnect positive battery cable first. Then disconnect wires on altenator then remove bolts holding altenater in place remove belt. Mount new altenater in place dont tighten bolts till you get belt back on then apply pressure to snug up belt while tightening bolts. Some times its easier to put wires back on starter before mounting just be careful not to damage wires. When this is all done reconnect positive cable and start car. While car is running disconnect positive cable if car stays running you are done reconnect cable if it does you did something wrong recheck your work. Its possible to buy a part bad right from the start.

After change the new battery, while driving the battery light flash every 3 to 5 mins, please help?

A battery light flashing indicates a problem with your charging system I would have altenater checked, also make sure there is no corrosion in battery cables and insure terminals are tight. Most of the time though it is the altenator.

Mystery car

it sounds to me like a bad censor...you would probably have to take it to a shop for them to run a diagnosic test, that should tell you what censor.

Alternator

Disconnect battery, disconnect altenator wire harness. Remove bolts and pull out altenator. When reinstalling new altenator, there should be an adjustable pulley called tensioner pulley that will either have to be pulled up or pushed down in order to put belt back on.

Need to hook up the altenator. thick wire from altenator is loose and i don't know where it connects to.

It sounds like you have answered your own question here...? the thick wire from the alternator connecting to the starter terminal feeds electricity back to the battery though the starter cable when you are running... if you have a manual you can see for yourself in the wiring charts. Hope this helps...
