It is bolted to the seat frame you have to remove the bolt and nut. it's a torx bit size #60 and a metric wrench size 15 mm that you will need. please rate the solution...thanks

if there are no screws there are clips that hold the panel in place. these clips are metal and the plastic panel has like molded prongs the clip into them so you have to pry the plastic panel away but take your time and use even pressure to remove the panel

if there are no screws then yes you have to remove it the same way. I have a town and country and they are almost the same.

tip

Middle seat belt buckle tip for booster seats, car seats, and large humans.

In trying to fit a booster seat into my 2004 Honda CR-V, I realized that the CRV has the belt buckle in the middle of the seat. This is a big problem for someone using a child seat in the middle seat as the buckle receptacle is completely covered by the booster seat. I thought about buying an extender but realized it wouldn't completely solve the problem. After much thought I came to the conclusion that the buckle receptacle could be moved to a new location without compromising any safety of the belt. I first pulled the buckle receptacle all the way out and then cut the fabric to enlarge the hole from which it protrudes from the seat. Then I pushed it through the hole and back into the seat with the head pointing towards the window and outer edge of the seat. After flipping the window seat out of the way I was able to peel the fabric away from the bottom edge of the middle seat enough to reach in and retrieve the belt receptacle. It was a little tight but I was able to buckle the belt and use the seat belt to pull the receptacle through this new "hole" and VOLIA the belt receptacle is now in a better position to the side of the middle seat. You can now used a booster or car seat or put a fully grown human in this seat and buckle with ease.

I have a old mercury villager ...i want to replace the middle row seat with last row seat ...is it posible...?

The middle row seat slides forward to the middle position (and several other positions as well.)

Owners manual explains how to slide rear seat foreard.
Remove middle row seats. Lift handle under 3rd row seat cushion on passenger side. Raise seat cushion up until it locks up. Then lift the lever on the passenger side of seat and pull seat forward until it locks in place.

if you don't have owner manual, go to motorcraft.com, pro center, tech info, owner manual.

Rear seat down and wont go back up; locked middle belt

middle seat belt shouldn't have anything to do with it. The seat locks down for stowage in the rear cargo area. you can pull the release handle on the back of the seat to release it back into the up position.
