Do you mean the EF 430? If so, then yes, it is compatible with the D60 and D7000, at least as far as the flash trigger voltage is concerned. You may not get all the capabilities of more recent Nikon flashes, but it will work.

SOURCE: minolta sigma ef-430 st ma flash will not work on cactus

Of course not. The electronics inside the flash and the mounting shoe have been specifically designed for the Minolta contacts and required voltages.
Actually, you're lucky if you have not damaged the flash by doing that.
Get a flash with a generic one contact shoe for your cactus.

Sigma lens manuals

Chuck, sorry for the late response. Last days I had to work through several hundred anonymous questions. Most irrelevant and not complete, so I could not answer most of them, but I had to read them all.
Sigma, does not have a service, where you can download a manual. But the manuals from Nikon, most of the time don't tell anything about how to use the lens.
I found a page with all specs. The link is down here.

I have to guess why you did put the question here in the first place. I think because you have a Nikon camera without a focus motor. Like a D3x00 or the D5x00 or a D40 or D60. (for the x you can add 0 1 2 or 3)
If you have one of these camera's the lens can't be used with auto focus You only can use the lens in manual focus. Most other camera's from Nikon, like D80 D90 D7000 D300 and more expensive, all do have a focus motor and can work with this lens in full automatic focus mode.

85mm 1.4 is not metering exposure on my nikon d7000

It is a manual focus lens. That is for sure. The D7000 only can meter, when a lens is fitted with a chip. Usually the Nikon AF lenses. (other brands like Sigma that are compatible) To my knowledge the Vivitar is not. You only can use this lens in Aperture-priority and manual exposure. See a discussion on Nikon forum about this lens, that is capable of shooting brilliant pictures.

My sigma 24-70mm f2.8 doesnot work on my d7000

Could you be a little more specific about "does not work"? Does the lens not fit? Can you not view through the lens when it's attached? Does it not autofocus? Does it not meter the exposure properly?

Sigma AF Zoom 70-210mm F4-5.6 Nikon Mount Camera Lens. is compatible with the nikon d60?? this is the Serial #1172609

Yes, the lens is compatible with the D60, with one proviso. The D60 lacks an autofocus motor, relying on the lens to have one. This lens does not, so the autofocus feature will not work. Other than that, everything else will work.

Sigma 70-210mm f/4-5.6 UC II compatible with Canon 10D and Nikon D7000?

It depends on the lens mount. Sigma makes varieties of their lenses for different camera mounts. A lens with a Canon mount will be compatible with any current Canon camera. A lens with a Nikon mount will be compatible with a Nikon camera. Any one lens can fit one but not the other.

Will a Nikon Sigma 70-210 work on my nikon D60??

Assuming the lens has a Nikon mount, then it will fit and work on the D60. Sigma makes lenses for a variety of cameras; a lens with a Canon mount, for example, will not fit onto a Nikon camera. However, the 70-210 is a rather old lens. Unless it specifies "HSM" it will not autofocus on the D60. The D60 does not have an autofocus motor, relying on the lens to have one. Nikon calls such lenses "AF-S" while Sigma designates theirs "HSM".

Running in TTL mode with Nikon D200, flash EF-500 DG ST NAd, doesn't work. In manual mode everything runs well.

this flash is not compatible with the d200. i had one and sent it back to sigma, they upgraded the software in the flash for free. now it works in all modes, it needs to be iTTL to work on the nikon d200 the NAd version is not iTTL.

Sigma ef-500 dg st won't work with my d300 or 200 in ttl mode

This Sigma flash is not Ittl compatible. The D300 and D200 Nikon must have Ittl compatible flash to operate in any of the Automatic modes. It is a great flash but will not work on those two cameras.

Will Sigma 24-135mm f/2.8 works on Nikon D60?

Yes and no. Assuming you get the version with the Nikon mount, it will fit on the D60 and the exposure metering will work fine. However, as it's not an HSM lens, lacking a focus meter, it will not autofocus on the D60.

Hi I had a similar problem with a 50mm prime and I fixed it by locking the aperture ring on the lens in place.
