S4 not connected with GPRS

General Packet Radio Service is a radio technology for GSM networks that adds packet-switching protocols, shorter set-up time for ISP connections, it also offers the possibility to charge by amount of data sent rather than connect time.
It is a new nonvoice value added service that allows information to be sent and received across a mobile telephone network. GPRS is NOT related to GPS (Global Positioning System), a similar acronym that is often used in mobile contexts. Allowing information to be transmitted more quickly, immediately and efficiently across the mobile network, GPRS may well be a relatively less costly mobile data service.
GPRS can provide instant connections subject to radio coverage. No dial-up modem connection is necessary.

Connect your mobile to Laptop by data cable. Ensure you have activated GPRS/Internet service from your providers & also installed settings for the same on mobile.
Then on mobile screen go to Programs>Internet Sharing; select PC connection - USB, Network connection- Internet & press CONNECT. After some seconds you will see laptop is connected to internet.

Mobile settings.
1. Menu>Internet>WAP>setting>enter the values
2. Menu>Internet>Data Account> GPRS> enter the values
3. Menu>Internet>Settings>Activate
4. Sent SMS to activate Internet
5. After u recieve the SMS internet is activated, switch off ur mobile phone & switch on
6. Connect to PC.
7. Add new connection, use dialup, usid&pswd=blanks, dialup=*99***1# / *99*#
8. You will be connected. game over.

I am using china mobile model sigmatel s4(low cost),this mobile consists blutooth,camera(1.3Mpixel),screen touch,wap but don't have Gprs and java software. I want that Gprs and java.Can you solve my problem

VODAFONE CAN'T SUBSCRIBE NTERNET FOR PC SO TRY OTHER CONNECTIONS WITH BLUTOOTH

i can help u if u have airtel sim .  The chinese (sigmatel) have the same settings of spice s4 so u can call customer care 12143 and know your settings by saying that i have spice s4 set . 

To active mobile office on your Nokia 6600 first go to
Menu >> Tools >> setting >> connection
Access Point: Connection Name >Mobile office
Date bearer: GPRS
Access Point Name airtelgprs.com
Home Page : www.google.com

Menu >> Tools >> setting >> connection GPRS

GPRS Connection :when needed selected
Access Point : airtelgprs.com

Now Go to Services: selected Mobile Office

and press 0 longer keys and enjoy....
