Hi, I have a small sanyo television and it is stuck on channel 12. I do not have the controller anymore and was wondering if there was a way to get it to switch channels. There are no buttons on the front but a game button, channel up and down, volume up and down, and a power button. I would appreciate your help. thanks

Re: tv stuck on channel 12
Either post the model of your Sanyo or google the model number with "manual" and look for a free one. Sometimes the Sanyo site will have a down loadable one there. Also there may a way to reset the TV by pushing a combination of buttons on the front but best if you have a manual to do this.

Most universal remotes don't have all the functions of the original remote controls. You may be out of luck unless you can find an original remote. There are web sites that sell original remotes. Just Google TV parts stores.
If you still have the Sanyo remote, you just need to press the INPUT button on the remote. The channel search and some other functions are disabled when the TV is in video/AV/game mode.
If you don't have the Sanyo remote, but you have a Universal remote which you use with the TV, look for a button labelled INPUT or SOURCE on this remote and try pressing it.
If you don't have any remote for this TV or you are using a universal remote which does not have an INPUT or SOURCE button, please reply to me from within this page for further assistance and let me know the brand and model number of any universal remote you are using. There is no option in the menu for doing this, but there a couple of methods which work on some TVs
A POSSIBLE solution. I have the same stet...got it used, but it's in good condition.
It was stuck on a channel. I went iinto the menu and fiddled with the channel programs and "deleted" the channel and now I can freely change channels.
By the way, I could use a manual for this ...got one?
Yippie, I figured out a solution that worked!!! I have a univeral remote from comcast, on that remote near the bottom left is a small button that says (input) tv/vcr, press that one time and whala!! the tv video screen was gone, I had to manually change the channel from the tv channel button on the unit. once I changed the channel to 3, my universal remote worked... the button is the second one from the bottom left... I was on hold with sanyo for a long time and just kept trying on my own, so good luck!!!!
you can play your PS2 via the RF in (ANT IN ) at the back of your TV .
For this you will first have to connect a AUX to RF converter jack device to ANT IN jack of TV.
Then determine the OUTPUT CHANNEL of the PS2.
(Channels-1 to 12 is in VHF band
channels-21 to 69 -UHF band)
Put the PS2 "ON"
TUNE the TV set to the frequency of PS2.
