Unfortunately there are no cheat codes available for Dead Island on the Xbox 360. If you're interested in modding your save file then you can look up a program called Modio, and you can probably mod a little bit of cheating into your save such as giving you a bunch of money. Do your own research into the matter though, as modding isn't for everyone and it has some risks involved such as getting your save corrupted. Best of luck to you, Dead Island was kind of a doozy for me too. Thankfully I played on PC so I had cheats available ^_^
Some XBox games have both a 360 and original XBox version, so you can't play them on the 360. Other games simply aren't compatible. Your game may fall into one of those two groups.

Sounds like your Laser is either dirty or dead. Try getting a Laser Lens cleaner and running it through your xbox a few times. If this doesn't work, Contact Microsoft about having your console repaired, because your Laser has probably died :( Sorry
The xbox wont play some .avi , I suggest you update your console , if that doesnt work download TVersity its a program that will stream the videos from your pc to the xbox .. I think thats your best shot
i have had this before and what you should do is take the game out get it buffed for like 5$ and if it still doesnt work sell it and buy another left 4 dead if it doesnt work im sorry
If the light on your power supply isnt on then you either have a dead outlet or your power supply is bad. Try switching outlets some times connections in the wall can go bad. If this doesnt help you might need to purchase a new power supply. If any of your friends have a 360 see if you can borrow there cord to see if it will work.
