Hello,

In the back of the refrigerator behind the scrvice panel is a tube that connects to the drain inside of the freezer drain...that tube is blocked and ya need to pull that tube out and clean it as well as the part of the drain inside of the freezer which ya have already cleaned.

Water collecting in the bottom of the freezer is usually caused form a condensate drain blockage. Remove the back panel and there should be no ice around the drain. if there is pour hot water in and around the drain to clear it and flush it out. This should get things fixed.

Csx22br freezer ice build up water runs out bottom of freezer

Your defrost drain hole may be plugged or frozen over. Open the freezer door and remove the lower shelf and basket so you can get to the back evaporator cover, and right under it is the drain hole. Remove what ice may be built up and pour very hot water into drain. It helps to have a syringe to remove the water and pour more hot water into drain. Then use a wire or other flexible tubing to poke into drain to clear restriction then flush with water.

Ice is forming in the bottom of the freezer compartment of my hotpoint FFM90 frost free fridge/ freezer. Please help. Many Thanks

Had exactly the same problem.
It was due to a blockage of the drain.
At the back of the freezer there is the pump and there is a small darin that lets condensation from inside the freezer spill onto the top of the (hot) pump to be evaporated. When this small drain blocks it causes issues like water leaking out of freezer and big chunks of ice at the back of the bottom compartment.
The fix is easy, if a little laborious.
Take all the stuff out of the freezer, then dismantle the internal plastic trip, don't worry, you can't really break anything and it goes back together easily, Eventually you will be left with just the bare metal insides and in the middle at the bottom back you will see the drain collection point, slightly hidden from view is the drain hole. Pour warm water onto this till it comes out onto the pump at the back.
Then use a pipe cleaner to clean.
Re-assemble - done :)

Water collects at bottom/Ice forms in top

Hi,

The defrost drain is located just under the cooling coils in the back of the freezer. You will need to unload the food and remove the shelves from the freezer. Take the back panel off from inside the freezer and you will see a hole just below the coils. Flush it with hot water using a turkey baster or small hose. See the link below for more details.

Collecting water at bottom of frig inside under drawers.

begin by removing the grill on the front at floor level. look under there and you will see the evaporation pan. next pull the fridge out from the wall so you can get behind it. there you will see the tube. to unclog it you will have to disconnect it at the top and force hot water into it using a turkey baster.
