SOURCE: phone freeze sim unavailable contact service provider

I had a similar problem a few months ago. A friend of mine suggested that I turn off my phone, take the battery out and then the sim card out (the little card that says either CINGULAR or AT&T) on the back. Blow some air to try and get the dust out and put everything back on, then turn on the phone again.

It worked!!

I don't know if this will work for you, but I hope it does!! Good luck!!

Midcat.

SOURCE: phone freeze sim unavailable please contact service provider

This happened to me. Actually different way, But same thing. I have this message after PUK locking my phone and tempting to write a number over and over. I thought it meant the code I wanted to use for the password on my phone. I am still awaiting for a solution! :(

Phone says, phone freeze SIM unavailable. contact your service provider.

If the phone displays the message 'phone says, phone freeze SIM unavailable. contact your service provider', then the samsung phone has got hard locked and you need to reset the phone to enter the unlock code again. You can get the unfreeze code, NCK code and SPCKcode from third party. After unfreeze your phone, you have to enter the NCKcode to unlock and use it with any gsm network in the world. i will suggest thewebsite MobileUnlockSolutions.com which is doing goodservice .....you can approach this website

its the fault in your SIM card.remove the sim card from the mobile then clean it with dry tissue also clean the area where sim is inserted in the mobile with a dry tissue.also remove if any dust got collected on the sim or the area in the mobile where sim is instead.
if this message shows up"Phone Freeze SIM Unavailable Please Contact Service Provider" , Your Sim cards validity might have been expired or you Sim might be damaged. In case of Second case you need to apply for a Duplicate Sim Card from your Service provider.

Samsung SGH-A707 - Phone Freeze, sim unavailable (at&T)

Your best bet would be to take it to a local mobile store to unfreeze it. You should've got it unlocked while in the US by calling AT&T and you could have done it for free. Sorry.
