Make sure that your pool cleaner is getting adequate water flow. You will also want to check all of the tracks and brushes to make sure that they are not worn, which would prevent movement. Any blockages in the cleaners throat of the filter would also cause a lack of movement.

Takeuchi mini digger tracking problem

Pressure valve? does it only do it to only one side? Left or right. The reason you move both tracks with the bucket running is because you relieve pressure. One side is free wheeling, As they call it. I work on cars, But also have done to many hydraulic components. You have a pressure control valve that is bad.

Alaska Railroad #71 Problem

Before disassembling check the brushes (metal contacts) are making good contact with the loco wheels and are not blocked with fluff etc. Ensure the loco wheels are clean and shiny so that they pick up the track voltage ok. The brushes are made of sprung metal and transfer the voltage from the wheels via the track to the motor. Check that as well as clean and fluff free that they also have a strong springiness against the wheels for good electrical contact. If these appear ok then remove the loco bodywork and check the motor. You can apply a 12v supply directly to the motor contacts to test if it's running ok. If it does run ok then suspect the brushes and associated connections. If it does not run try moving the motor armature manually. If it is stuck it is probably time to replace it. If it moves apply a light machine oil and test again.

My 1941 Lionel train stops getting enough power to run all the way around the track. Voltmeter says 15 volts around all track and transformer says 15 volts. How do I test engine?

Drivers side power seat does not move forward or back.

You will need to check the track and the motor, take note there are 3 motors for diffrent operations, pinpoint the one for foward and back, seeif it spins, you will hear it, then if it spins lookat the ends of the cables coming off motor to track look closely and see if there spinning, if the motor runs its ok. if not bad motor, if the cables spin at track then track is bad, now if motor doesnt spin test the connector at motor for power and a ground, if theres power and ground then its the motor if theres no power or ground then it may be the switch or module.

Belt won't move

does is just not move when you're standing on it, or not even move when you're not standing on it. It may be a simple belt adjustment or if the motor is running but there's no track movement you may be looking at a loose/broken drive belt. Take the cover off, start it up and look at the motor/drive pulley assembly. If the motor turns and the front roller doesn't, tension the drive motor by moving it back. If the front roller turns but the track doesnt, do a track adjustment as per your users manual.

The driver side window will not go up or down, the motor runs, sounds like it is off the track. It is a 2003 Deville.

You will have to take inner door panel off and check what moves or doesn't move when trying to use window. It could be off track, something broke or the cable for the window motor is bad. The only way to tell is to look once the panel is off.

Have replaced drive gear on Craftsman GDO. Everthing engages and chain moves but door only opens 3 inches are so. Have ajusted opening cointrol on side to max and only 3 inches. When I unlatch GD from...

Loosen the chain enough that you can remove it from the pulley on top of the motor unit. Now with the door closed run the motor until the pulley turns in the clockwise direction and stops. Put the chain back on the pulley and tighten. You may have to tweak the up and down limits now.

Renault scenic drivers electric window motor runs

The track guide that operates the window from the motor is damaged or has jumped track. Remove the inner door panel and operate the window and see which has happened. If it has jumped track check for missing or damaged guide retainers if it is damaged or broken replace it. Normally runs about $15 to $20 for the part. Now if the drive guide is not damaged and it is still not working the gear that drives it is damaged and you will need to replace the motor as this is pressed on and not user replaceable. Good Luck
