You might not have installed a driver for your sony vaio loptop. If you have a driver installation disk, re-install your loptop's drivers. you don't have the disk try to buy a driver magician software that will detect any missing drivers that your loptop needs. Driver magician will automatically download what drivers that your computer needs, all you got to do is install it . If this does not work, you'll need to buy an external usb mini amplifier that you can plu your speakers with. If this shoulp happen to work well, then you have a problem with you built in amplifier. Good day my friend.

My sony vaio model pcg-7y1l is not working. When

i had the same prob this morning there are 3 things you can try

1 memery
2 proccessor
3 hard drive

if not any of them
try the dvd drive

if not that then try exsternal monitor if dont show on that then motherboard is gone
