SOURCE: I have a makita hm 1810 hammer green light stays on hit switch light goes off

As stated in the manual:
The green power-ON indicator lamp lights up when the tool is plugged to the mains. If the indicator lamp is lit but the tool does not start even if the tool is switched ON, the carbon brushes may be worn out, or the motor or the switch may be defective. If the indicator lamp does not light up, the mains cord or the indicator lamp may be defective.

Makita hammer drill does not work but green light shows

Could be a stuck brush. Take the covers of the brushes and check they are long enough and move easily back & forth.

WHAT TYPE OF OIL DO YOU PUT INTO A MAKITA 1810 BREAKER

this tool does not require daily maintenance, but if the grease needs to be refilled it takes 60g/2oz of hammer grease part number A-90582. This is packaged in 1oz tubes. They also show oil and that part number is 181118-7. If you go to their site "makitausa.com" you can download or look at the section on maintenance and it shows you how to fill the reservoir. Good luck.

Hi there i have a makita HR2470 and last week i was chasing out a wall and it just stopped mid chase,i checked the transformer it was connected too that was fine, then i've checked the lead at both ends all...

Try to make a direct JUMPER.Take an old electrical cord cable and plug it in the electric socket and the other end of the cord with 2 cables already peel off and jump the + and - to the + / - of the hammer and see if power on if so the on/off switch is bad and need to replace. If the problem
persist probably the motor is burn.

My computer wont turn on

take out the psu completely from the cpu/tower, plug in the power cord,if there is a switch on the psu turn it on, next locate the main power connector (24pin) and find green wire, take a piece of wire and insert it into the green wire connector, next touch the other end of the wire to the psu outer case or a black wire on the main connector,if all is well the psu will turn on,if you have a dc voltage tester check the voltages on the red and black wires on molex connector...5vdc,yellow and black...12vdc.if ok look at the main board and inspect the capacitors to see if they are swollen, if ok
replace psu and disconnect hdd,cd/dvd,floppy ect from main board only leave memory, processor and video, power on if ok shut off and reconnect hdd, power on, if ok shutoff and connect floppy, if ok power off and connect cd/dvd drive.during this testing you will know what is bad.let me know how it turns out.email; [email protected]

Seems to be no power to speakers.

Disconnect green speaker jack from computer and see if you get a green power light on speakers. If the speakers indicate they have power, your sound card or circuit is shorting out the speakers. If you still have no power to the speakers when disconnected from computer, then no green light means no power to speakers. Either you’re A.C. adaptor is bad or the speakers are shorted out. You have 2 options:
1) Replace A.C. adaptor.
2) Replace speakers.
If you buy new speakers, make sure that they have their own power source (A.C. adaptor).
