Tip & How-To about Cell Phones

How to make your phone`s battery life longer!

Never leave your phone charging full nights (exception if the battery is new and needs formating). Sometimes, a lot of Nokia cell phones don`t show up the "battery full" message. This is not to worry, just leave your phone to charge maximum 3 hours.
Check your settings! Some phones have LED`s and other lights working with no particular/good use (for example: if you phone has music lights, if you disable those, your battery will have a longer life). Disable key stroke tones, you are looking at the screen when you are typing, so you don't need a beep every time you press a key, this is a really good battery saver! If you listen to music, use how often you can headphones/handsfree, this saves your battery and protects the phone`s sound parts to get broken.

who to format mi nokia 7210c but its shows contact service

Connect your phone to a charger and let it charge until the battery is full. Leave the phone plugged in throughout the procedure.

Unlock the phone by pressing "*" then "unlock.

Type in the code "*#7370#" then enter your security code. The default security code for Nokias is "12345."

Wait 2-to-3 minutes for the format to complete, then your phone will switch itself back on.

My phone charges but never reaches the stage where message says "your battery is full now", even if i leave it overnight to charge. then when i turn the phone on, it's life is only a couple of hours - most of it on standby (i don't use phone a lot). Do i have a problem with the battery or with the phone itself?

Ifthe cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be wornout. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cyclesand will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up atall. ORThe battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected thebattery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. Ifthe battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to bereplaced.

when making a call or answering a call the mobile battery level comes down and showing battery low and get switched off. i have changed orginal battery and formated after that also same problem occurs.

maybe your did not reformat your mem card?

if you just replaced the battery with a brand new genuine one from a reputable dealer then we have no prob with the batt except you get a factory defect if your lucky. hehehe...

some that they call it viruses can also drain a new battery even at full charge in just minutes.

try to remove your memory card and format it in your pc or other non-nokia phones.

reformat again your phone by typing *#7370# and wait until your phone boots again.

don't insert back your mem card until you're certain they are clean and being reformatted again. cause some viruses goes to your mem card.

try it.

battery not holding a charge.do you leave phone on while charging

firstly the battery from new will need charging for about 8 hours to boost it after that it should reach full charge in about 1 hour it will charge if it is on or off and when off should show a charging bar how ever there is no way it will recognise when fully charged so dont leave over night otherwise it will reduce battery life greatly
