you will need to open up your network connections click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled If you are trying to connect through a modem/router the driver should have come with a disc provided by your ISP internet service provider or your motherboard disc you might have to connect the usb lead to your modem to get a connection then click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters should see a yellow question mark? right click install drivers if you cant find the driver hopefully one of these will help you

hi no this board is now u/s any problems flashing a bios will make the board unusable, due to the fact is, it requires the bios for start up if that is corrupt you have no choice but to get another board, changing the battery will only put the bios back to default if it was ok, it will not do it if it is corrupt, sorry but thats the way it is

Your RAM Module might have been short circuited . Try cleaning the RAM module and run the computer again . 

Unplug your power cable; Take off your casing cover; make sure your hand is dry and clean, install your LAN Card to the right slot (Please refer to your Network Card Manual Book); Power On your PC, Press Delete at boot screen until u login the bios screen, go to the Advanced Tab on the top there, Select [Disable] for Onboard Lan; Then save & exit. Hi Dan, try to uninstall the driver for audio and re install again , by using the Cd driver and try to check also the jack connected to the motherboard. and let me know if its work ok.

Look for a program called Sound Booster or one called DFX. DFX is my favorite because it not only boosts the volume, but lets you add other effects to enhance you sound as well. There is a free version. but to get all the effects you have to upgrade to the paid. If audio is important to you, check it out.

Try going into sound select and test reinstall driver off Asus website..if you installed new windows or update drivers may not work right...see if you can roll back driver in device manager ..if not lookup your laptop model and reinstall...
