It means it does not receive the video signal from the PC video card, check all pins on the video cable, also try this monitor with other PC.

This can't be done. The network administrator under instruction by the principal blocks sites that are thought to be unfit to acess by students at the school. You could always ask your pricipal to unblock, if you can put up a good case.

Take a look at a site called DVD REVIEWER. Or do a search. I have made all my dvd players region free. Every dvd player is capable of going region free. You just have to find the "secret code" to unlock it. There is a way.

It's not a very good solution, but you can open the monitor and disconnect the button-panels plug on the mainboard. Afterwards the buttons don't work any more (surprise) but the control panel disappears.

hi if you have a dead pixels in your lcd monitor you can not fixed it, usually repair of the lcd display can only be done by the manufacturer.

Fisrt thing to check is the monitor screen button. if you clean your monitor there is chance that cleaning solution got inside the button and then even if you dont push on it, it does get a signal from the liquid trapped inside. you can try drying the solution with a hair dryer, but if the liquid leave a dry conductor inside the button this will be still there. the other option is to tear appart the monitor and unplug the button or manually try to clean the contact inside. if you did not cleaned it, the menu button might simply be stuck in. trying to release it can fix this.
