Check compression rings on the piston - that are fragile

Down time is ******* motor capacitors , replace motor capacitors , start or run capacitors , usually on outside of motor . Under a cover with one or two screws . They will be marked with voltage and microfereds ratings .....

On these larger compressors, the motor that turns the compressor,

will have one or two capacitors, the capacitor in conjunction with the

motor gives the compressor that extra push or torque that is required

to get it going. if the capacitor goes out, the compressor will not work,

the motor may work but will not have the strength to turn over the compressor..

depending on the size motor, it may be mounted on top, on the side or

even in a juntion box attached to the compressor, if you have to replace one

i recommend powering down or unplugging compressor and handle the

capacitor carefully, use insulated tools or gloves, a capacitor is like a battery

it will hold a charge, but like a battery it can be discharged, the only difference

with a battery and a capacitor, on a capacitor you can have thousands of volts.

it can be replaced just handle it safely, good luck!

The C6110 is an oil free air compressor and has a piston ring that needs to be replace as part of regular service.
When the piston ring is worn out it will just keep pumping but it will not go over 80 psi or so because to much ir is passing by the ring.

It sounds like the piston ring DAC-308 needs to be replaced. You can also replace the complete top end.
This is a pretty easy repair and can be done in less that 1 hour.

I know I'm not the first to try to help you. The way this site works, Those that try to help you cannot see any dialogue between you and previous providers.

I apologize for any redundancy you may endure.

To business.

Questions.

1. When it trips the breaker, has it restarted to top off?
2. Does it ever trip the breaker when empty?
3. On the initial run, does it seem to bog down?
4. Do the wires get hot?

I'm guessing No 2 is No and the rest are Yes.

Wear I'm going is either the wire gauge is too high (Gauge goes up, thickness goes down.)

You didn't mention how its connected. My first step would be making sure the power cable is at least 10ga. S type Heavy Duty power cord.

If I was correct, The Capacitor on the motor that gives it that extra nudge at startup may be going bad. The thicker cable can help there too.

Might be the unloader valve is stuck. if so there will be hissing noise from switch assembly and you may have to get a new one.

You may disassemble the channel where the nail exits. I have found issues where a burr causes the driver to hang. My issue was on a different type gun.

good guess , look online for rebuild kits.

It certainly sounds like you may need to replace the seals on the tool.

The two main culprits are loose screws or bad seals.

Try tightening all the screws on the unit.

If that doesnt fix then you will need to purchase an overhaul kit for your model or take to a repair shop.

it has 2 gauges , one for tank pressure and the other is the regulator output. tank pressure is on left. The pop off is starting to release because is worn and should be replaced. if unit is only making 30 pounds on tank gauge you have other problems . you may have to rebuild it again. inspect nail gun piston cylinder to ensure that it is not worn or scratched. Is the gun lubed before each use and periodically under heavy use?. The fr350a is completely different from fr350. The fr350a is completely modernized framing gun as compared to the retired version. I do not like repair kits because you are replacing parts that are still good. Instead replace parts as needed. If you state the issue you are having I may be able to recommend the actual part needed. If however you do not have any major air leaks, a lube job will make the gun work great. Use white grease or nail gun oil. Good luck with your repair.

The nose tip is most likely stuck in the ready to fire position from too much force being applied when nailing. These guns are small and sensitive to forces being applied. Try bumping it to see if the nose tip is retracting and compressing with each bump. Unplug and unload the gun before trying to pull the tip of the nose to retract if it is stuck. Check for foreign objects obstructing the trigger and safety mechanism
