Constant Leak problem

Try using straight vinger through the complete cycle then run plain water through the cycle see if that helps. It helps to clean the machine.

The parts to repair a problem of this magnitude are generally not available. The DCC-2000 has a thre-year warranty. I would call Cuisinart and see if you can get an in-warranty replacement. I have a high opinion of cuisinart and their products, but this particular coffeemaker, I do not personally reccomend.

Will not turn on and brew

The "Brew+3 button" fix posted earlier for DCC-2000 didn't work for me, but the following procedure seems to have solved this same problem, for now (I've since brewed twice, but am still awaiting the first programmed brew tomorrow morning). :

Unplug unit; set function switch to Program; hold hour button in, (alone or together with '1-4' button - not sure which one worked for me, so try one, then the other). After a couple of attempts, the display should return. Problem might be related to repeated plugging/unplugging of unit.

Cuisinart DCC-2000 coffee maker LEAKS all over my

There are a few issues that could be causing this depending where it is leaking from.

The most common leak occurs from coffee grounds. If you over fill the basket or if you are using too fine of a grind (especially if you grind your own coffee) it can clog the filter.

Try using less coffee grounds. The MAX recommended capacity is 15 tablespoons. If you are grinding your own coffee, try a less fine grind. If using already ground coffee, try switching to a different brand.

If this does not work or you are leaking from another spot, clarify and we can try to nail down what the issue may be.

Won't make coffee-doesn't appear to turn on.

Same thing here, just call the 1-800-726-0190, they will send you out a new one. You'll have to pay a $10.00 shipping and return the old one. You should have your new coffee maker in 7 - 10 days, customer service was nice and very helpful. No complaints here except, what do I do for coffee for the next 7 - 10 days?????????? LOL

Same as everyone else, dc2000 leaked water always

I"m sorry for the problem. Have you tried to de-scale the unit? Have you looked for clogs? Cuisinart is a high quality machine. Hopefully, the mfg will replace the unit or suggest to the Tech people your complaints.

My cuisinartnDC2000

the stopper is mal formmed , the only way to solve this is to use a hair dryer on high aim into the lever in side the brewer where the glass would go, you should see a lever or flapper, this allows the brewed coffee to flow into and down the shoot and into the lever assy if this is not going back far enough it will leak like crazy..

My cuisinart DCC-2000 leaks all over the counter

Be sure to not overfill the reservoir. Look at the back where the lid hinge is and you will see that the opening is lower then what the tank looks like it can be filled to. Had the same problem and stopped it by being a little more careful when I filled it.

How to fix the leak problem with Cuisnart coffee maker

Hi, my husband just this morning spotted the cause of the leaking problem with our DCC-2750 coffee maker. The coffee filter basket holder has a little handle loop that lines up with the 5:00 position. You have to PUSH DOWN AND LOCK IT INTO PLACE which opens the drainage hole at the bottom, allowing the liquid to go into the pot. Closing the lid is probably supposed to do this but sometimes doesn't (the manual says "press firmly on cover to be sure it closes securely").

Hope this helps someone else....

No electric power when plugged in and turn on switch/cuisinart DC

tried ALL solutions on this & other blogs-even to point of CAREFULLY drilling out plastic to get bit-holder down to the 'MAGIC FASTENER' level and then trying: #10 TORX; ## 7-10 TORX; 'security TORX(with hole in middle) & several other 'secret bits'---ALL TO NO AVAIL !!!!! :0(
then, in SHEER DESPERATION, called Cuisinart @ 800-726-0190 [this is on SAT morning 0915 on 3/28/09] got VERY HELPFUL/KIND/PATIENT rep who was ready to do the " $10 +old one AND $10 for new one" routine, when she said: "Did you try re-plugging into wall socket after 1 hour? That's the re-set time" !!! while she was on the line (they work 'til 1730 EDT on SAT/SUN & 'til 1100 M-F !!!) wife tried this highly-technical/super-secret solution -and- IT #$%^*'ING WORKED !!!!!! ;0) I'm sitting here drinking coffee outta it and posting this solution.

The manual for your product can be found here: http://www.cuisinart.ca/pdf/ibs/en/DCC-2000C_en.pdf

Turn off your coffeemaker and unplug from the power source.

Plug in your coffeemaker and then reprogram according to the instructions beginning on page 8 of your manual.

Try running a cycle with only water to see if problem is resolved.
