cab works normally. The brake light switch is on the top of the brake pedal. Power goes from the switch into the turn signal switch, then to the rear lights. I would check the brake light switch first

light switch is faulty or out of adjustment. See if there is power to one side of the brake light switch with a 12v tester, if so, see if the brake pedal depresses the button when moved, if not adjust
