2003 Mercedes-Benz S-Class "2001 s500 sound" Questions

S500 2002 and it seems the car when in drive is stuck ina lower gear. The techtronic shifter will not go into any other gears but neutral and park. car seems like its in low 2 or 3 gear def not drive.
