Same as the pickup chassis it's based on. On the frame under the driver's door. But be careful!!! Ford used some strange filter connections over the years. MAKE SURE you know which one you have before trying to get the filter off. If you destroy the clip/line on some of them it cannot be fixed. You would have to replace the whole line. $$$$$$

SOURCE: location of the crank positioning sensor on a Ford

The CPS is located in the engine block right next to the A/C compressor. You'll have to unbolt the compressor to have room to remove the CPS. Don't remove the A/C lines, just unbolt the compressor so that you can move it out of the way. There is one bolt holding the sensor in place and you can just pull it out after you remove that bolt.

SOURCE: Where is the fuel pump relay located on a 1990 Fleetwood Flair 22 foot motorhome on a Ford E350 1 ton chassis?

in the motor compartment fuse distrubution box under hood

Testimonial: "It would be helpful to know in relation to the radiator where the fuse distribution box is located. I have one fuse block under the dash near the steering wheel and 6 fuses in the right wheel well. There are 2 relays under the hood on the right side of the center of the hood, but the numbers don't match the part number on the relay available at Autozone. Thanks for your reply."

Who makes the roof on a 1998 Georgie Boy Pursuit, what type of rubber, and how long is it expected to last

Hello, Tom -

Apparently Coachman purchased Georgie Boy Manufacturing in 1995.

I checked the Coachman website
(home page: http://www.coachmenrv.com/ )
and found no mention of Georgie Boy motorhomes.)

You should still contact Coachman directly and ask about the Georgie Boy 1998 Pursuit, in hopes the company has information in its archives. This is the link to the Contact Us page for Coachman:
http://www.coachmenrv.com/ContactUs.aspx
There is a form on that page which you can fill out to send an email.

Another option would be to join an RV discussion forum where others who may be knowledgeable may be able to provide the information you seek. I found The RV Forum:
http://www.rvforum.net/SMF_forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=b036ca2a13c5cb2052b8ff2397774927&

You will need to register (free) before posting any question in the Motorhomes category.

Best wishes.

Tire pressure

For any motorhome you should weight the coach. Get all four weights, each corner, and then using the tire manufacturers guide, which you can get online, see what cold pressure they recommend.

Find the highest weight for the axle and use that weight for the pressure chart.

I then usually increase that pressure by 5 psi and put the same in both sides of that axle. Over inflating, max psi, will cause wandering, bad tire wear, and even a very hard ride. Underinflation will also cause bad tire wear but early failure.

1983 Ford coachman rv

1983 still had a carburetor. Thus, a manual fuel pump, driven by the engine. Located towards the front down low. 2 bolts, 2 lines. No pump in the tank.

I would check the fuel filter first, before changing the pump. Located somewhere inline between the tank and carb. Some carbs had a 2nd one at the fuel inlet.

Remote possibility of clogged fuel line. Can be blown out with compressed air.

Check the oil level and smell for gas. A ruptured fuel pump diaphram will pump gas into the engine. Noticeable by gas smell on dipstick and higher than normal oil level.

I have 1996 Coachman Mirada Motorhome with a problem with problem with its Auto-Park system. the system is right now is locked in the parked . I believe it has a blown fuse but I am having problem...

Not familiar with its configuration and whether it has a selector inhibitor - a system that locks the shift until the engine is run and your foot is on the foot brake - this is operated by a solenoid through a relay. If it has this system it would be more likely that the relay has failed. If you have a technical manual check relay positioning. If it foes not have an inhibitor set up we are looking at torque convertor or gearbox. (Inhibitors were introduced for the auto box when people began saying their vehicle moved without driver input -- "unintended aceleration")
