You will need to contact the secondary school/s you attended and the university or universities you attended. You will need to contact them directly to request your academic transcripts. Some schools charge for supplying the records.

You need recovery software.
Look online for Active recovery or Ontrack. I am not sure if you will have to buy the software to do the recovery, but, you can test the process and see if the file is recoverable without paying for it.
