Do you see blue smoke from the exhaust? If you don't then your not burning oil your loosing it. In your oil bag there is a vent hole, are you filling oil too full?
Once you locate the filter. It should be rather straight forward to change it. When you buy the filter, don't be afraid to ask the people where it is, and what tool you need to change it.
