How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? The basics if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse.
Crank the starter intermittently so it doesn't overheat. You need spark--fuel--compression, proper amounts at proper time, where applicable, or it won't start.
sounds like one of two things, first things first make sure your car has gas in it sometimes the gage can be off and show gas in it when there is very little, if the car is parked on a hill that could also be letting the gas flow away from the fuel pump also causing the car to sputter, If it has gas then your fuel pump is out and will need replaced. hope this helped
If you have a 30 gallon tank this can happen on steeper hills. the sending unit holds the pump in a canister that holds about a quart of fuel. if the canister is not sitting in fuel it willnot **** it into the canister. when the fuel is used in the canister your car dies. pretty normal. hope this helps
Find a shop that does scope meter testing. They will be able to give you coil's output.
You may have a faullty plug wire . Take a spray bottle full of water spray it on spark plug wires and see if the engine decreases in idle. If so you need new wires.
With regards to eng lite. have ECU scanned again may be a different code. Autozone does this free of charge.
Did you clean out the carbon on the EGR passage before you put new EGR in?
fuel level sensor is part of the fule pump assembly. code is telling you sensor is malfuctioning. do gauges work? if yes i would leave problem alone till you need a fuel pump
