Hi, firstly you are probably rite about the clicking being related to a discharged battery, i would suggest you try some jump leads of a car or another battery my guess is it will start or turn over and the clicking will stop, suzuki motorcycles of this eara did have some charging probs, running with a discharged battery for a prolonged period is not recomended.
Secondly its not unusual for even a new battery to become low state even when left continuasly on chage with a trickle charger, and eventually the battery.becomes dead through overcharging
Hi, Thank you for your interest in helping me. It is much appreciated.
Your suggestion is to try and jump it with a car?(Jump leads of a car?)
I do believe the old battery was on its way out and had to be recharged once or twice before it completely died on me. Once I got a new battery(from sears) it was never able to turn the bike back on. I do remember leaving it on charge with the trickle charger for a day, however the trickle charger did not show the charge was complete when I disconnected it the following day.
Should I try and recharge this (new) battery again? Or your suggestion is to try and jump it with a car? If you could please clarify what you meant abut jump leads of a car or another battery
Thank you again

Hi not sure if u got ur bike running yet.. But i also had that same battery problem,, i inspected the battery to find that there was no acid in it at all (bone dry) which i was lucky my bike didn't blow up after riding it a few times.. Instead of buying a new battery i just bought some acid it's like $6 bucks or so.. Also checked the oil added some, i kid u not my bby started rt up =) I also to used a car to jump start it a few times. Well gd luck on getting her started... ClassikBeauty.
