SOURCE: I have a 1992 softtail fxst and the battery is not

Your stator is dead. It makes the Juice. Put a volt meter on your battery. Your battery should read 12 plus start the bike it should read 13 plus at 2000 rpm should be reading in the 14 area. at idle it will put out 13 plus. When you change your stator also change your regulator. Anyway thats your Problem sorry.

New rocker (back) cover won't fit po fxst need to drop engine how do I do that slightly

You need to loosen the front lower motor mount. I believe it's an 11/16 nut on the very bottom. Loosen that. Once you've done that then loosen the 2 other bolts that hold it in. It should give you enough clearance to get the rear rocker in.

2002 harley softtail;oil cap poping off and no it is not over full and new cap installed

You got one of those fancy spring loaded caps? If you do then it's gonna "pop off" if you don't get it fully tightened...Just when you THINK it's tight, you need another 1/4 round to fully seat it. Seen these caps blow off lots of times. Oily pants caused a few bikes to get traded in even, lol.
Don't forget, oil expands, and most everyone i know runs their oil level 1/2-1 inch low on a cold engine...the older glides with the horseshoe tank always gain oil after you ride a few miles.
I hope this helps.

I am in the process of changing my turn signals. The turn signals that I have are 3 wires and the softtail only has 2 wires. The turn signals that I have to replace the existing ones have a black with white...

The turn signals you have bought are complete with running lights. This is mandatory in most American states. You only need to wire the Red and The Black leads to make the indicators work. (Unless you are in America).
