I need the vaccum hose diagram. I replaced the exhaust manifold any replacing several vaccum hoses that were not attached or broken.

You need to replace the punctured hose , use the service of a good mechanic or DIY.

no idea as to make or model but if the vacuum hoses come off , they are either too short or the engine mounts need replacing

Vacum diagrams should be under hood on hood or radiator support alsi in repair books at parts house

O2 Sensors are attached to exhaust manifold and/or near the catalitic converter.You will need a special socket to replace your O2 sensors.If you buy the parts at your local auto parts store like Autozone,they have the tool that you can borrow for free just leave a deposit.
Before changing the sensor check first for vaccume leaks near the intake manifold you can do this cheaply by spraying starting fluid(Try not to overkill the spray you only need a small amount just enough so that it get **** in the system ) around the vaccume hoses do this while the car is idling and watch if the rpm increases while your sparying around or near the vaccume lines.If it remains the same then proceed to replacing your O2 sensor.Good luck.This sensors are somewhat overprice.Check the Net.

by the brake booster under the hood is a vaccum hose that attaches to a a plastic plug that may bed disconnected or broken which needs to be replaced or repaired. you can repair it by splicing it together with a small vaccum hose.

truck normally has a vacuum hose routing diagram on under side of hood on drivers side.also look for metal tag on center of engine compartment fire wall which gives you a motor id @ and trk model # you can then know what engine vacuum diagram you need.i have a diagram for an 86 720 series Z24 carb engine that can be copied off of truck..chris

99% sure that this is your problem. It's not a linkage issue, but a vaccum control problem. There is a thin (1/8") plastic vaccum line that traverses over the top of your engine. The high heat generated by cramming a 4.3 ltr. engine into the tight quarters of a Sarfari or Astro van causes the plastic tubing to breakdown, crumble and leak. The vaccum line needs to be replaced from the vaccum manifold at the rear of the engine to the heater control access on the firewall (about 3-1/2 ft. of tubing). Unfortunately, you'll have to remover the interior "doghouse" to access the vaccum manifold at the rear of the engine. The line is worth a couple of bucks, should take a mechanic less than an hour to complete the repair. You can then redirect heat or A/C from the defrosters, to dash vents, to your feet...etc.

The hose is a cooling by-pass hose. It makes a big horseshoe and attaches under the front of the intake maniold. I think that if you have small hands and a lot of patience you can likely replace it without haveing to take half the engine apart. (You have to pull the head to pull the intake manifold).
I think if you remove the battery, and have a small bright light you will be able to see where if attaches under the front of the intake manifold. Advance auto sells the by -pass hose for
around $12.00 I think.

Becare if you are probing around there are way too many vaccum lines under the manifold.
If they come off and you don't know where to put them -- you are in deep kim chee. I know I am
in super deep Kim chee now.
