The engine won`t start. Fuelpressure OK. Will start with startgas as long as gas sprays into air cleaner.

Sounds like injectors are not firing, check fuse of the injectors, check voltage of injectors if fuse is okay, voltage should be around 5V. If okay, you can check the ground side of injectors with a noid lite. If voltage is there, and no ground side, computer issue, or bad wiring. A good scanner can see if the injector voltage is okay.

Dixie chooper runs/ cuts great after 15 mins or so, dies. Can jump and fire and run another 15 then dies. Any ideas? Thank you

Has this being sitting since last season?
Regardless what stabilizer you put in ETC if so try this.
Remove the old gas and put fresh gas, 91 octance just buy 1/2 gallon will act has a carb cleaner.
Also, pick up a can of engine starting spray.

Remove the air filter and spray the engine starting spray into the air intake. start the engine and give it additional squirts of engine starting spray until it runs smoothly.

I have a Lexmoto Adrenaline 125EFI. It will start ok but revs go up to 4k and wont drop down

I'm assuming that this is a gas engine? If so, get a can of carburetor cleaner spray, remove the air cleaner and start it up. When it revs, spray the carb. spray AT THE BASE of the carb and, if it has a separate intake manifold, spray at the connection to the engine. If either slows it down, you have either a loose or warped part like the carb base plate or gasket surface of the intake manifold, a gasket leak or a cracked part whether it be the base plate of the carb. of the intake manifold if present.. Good luck.

When i give gas i hear a noise almost like an exhaust leak

you could have the start of an leaking manifold to find out if this is starting to happen spray some carb cleaner over the inlet manifold while engine is a temp if any changes happen when you spray an area i.e engine idles faster or cuts out then this is were you problem is going to start from. also check the air line with the cleaner. if every thing is fine then its just an intake clean is needed take the top off the inlet spray the carb cleaner in there let it sock for awhile and wipe out ht muck etc. don't do it with the engine running. after a good clean change the air filter. also on some models there is a secondary air intake vale check this as the vale can fail. when the engine valve fails can sound like the engine is high performance but with out the power. usually sits next to the exhaust manifold has 2 pipes coming out of the exhaust manifold to a pipe with a vale on it then a rubber pipe out to the front of the engine bay. some have fans fitted and some don't depends on engine number fitted. will have a filter at the end.

I can't start the engine after running out of gas

if it's a diesel, it needs to be bled of air before it will start. If it's a gas engine, make sure you've got a few gallons in the tank because not enough gas is getting to the pump. you could try start spray or carburetor cleaner to get it going and the gas might start circulating. take the air filter cover off and spray some into the tube towards the motor and it will start

My car has been sitting for 2 years and won't start. The engine turns over but it sounds like not getting gas. I read somewhere to spray gas starting inside air intake valve. Where is the air intake v

Safer is to use 'carburetor cleaner' which is also flammable but a little less dangerous than using gasoline. After sitting a long time, our modern gasoline gets tired; never allow something to sit so long without adding some 'fuel stabilizer.'If possible with your car, I would drain (siphon) the tired gas out and replace it with a few gallons of fresh.
Really tough starting problems can also be overcome with 'starting fluid' which is pure ether and very flammable.Any of these may require the removal of the engine air filter so the liquid gets into the intake manifold.
Stale gasoline can also gum up the fuel injectors which may have to be removed for service if none of the fluids causes the engine to fire.

I have mercury villager 1999 ,when started in morning idler ok , after run for 20 mnts engine stall in idler turn off ,end stared back up ok give gas go normal , and star again idler low like lose power...

Read the following and follow the instructions for this problem.

Here are the most common causes of idle surge, stalls at stops, slow idle speed, erratic idle speed, rough idle and engine hesitation (and other problems), it is in most cases the idle speed control air-bypass valve and or throttle valve and upper intake, these area's get full of gunk and combustion residue over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake

Vehicle rev's or accelerates fine when started for just a minute. Then it wont rev up. When you push on the gas it just struggles. Wont really go much above 1500-1700 rpm. idles ok. It is a gasonline...

that sounds like a fuel delivery problem. either the filter is clogged or the pump is not delivering the right pressure. i assume you have no check engine light. this would not set one but other problems like sensors would. being 11 yrs old i would not be surprised if the fuel pump was worn out. good luck

87 325 runs good when

It's the automatic choke!

The choke is "closed" or barely open... When cold, the engine needs a RICH mixture (more gasoline, less air). When the engine warms up, it requires a LEAN mixture (less gas, more air).

It is probably creating BLACK tailpipe smoke ... that means unburnt gasoline. (Blue smoke is OIL, white smoke is WATER).

Put the parking / emergency brake ON.
1. Remove air cleaner assembly from intake, use a carb cleaner spray or throttle body spray cleaner and spray just a little. (AutoZone $5)
2. Find the accelerator2.gif arm under the hood.
3. start car, rev the engine to make sure how to operate the accelerator from under the hood.
4. Carefully spray into carb / throttle body and work the accelerator ... don't let the engine die...
5. Watch out for "backfire"... it may create a small flame out of the carb. It will extinguish itself in one second.

6. You may need to do this two, three times.
7. Add a "complete fuel system2.gif cleaner" to your next tank of gas ($8).

That's it! ... pretty cheap, too.

Hope this helps!

2005 MPV shuts off after I let go of the gas after

I'd pull the "idle air control valve " (located on side of throttle body near front) off, and use some throttle body spray cleaner on it & the port it came out of. Spray pintle (pointed part) good to remove any gunk etc. Re-install, it & try it. if it cures your problem for a while & starts to act up again, replace it.
