Hi, my wrx impreza 2000 .. the clutch slipping and a burning smell comes from it.. how bad is it and can it be fixed

It is bad and the clutch assembly will need to be replaced and the flywheel machined smooth if possible, a huge job requiring special tools and a high skill level. If you do have the tools and you think you have the skill let me know.

Where is the clutch master cylinder in a 1996 Subaru Impreza 2ltr Sportswagon?

To remove or bleed the clutch master, you will need to first remove the battery and the air box. After, you will find the clutch pedal assembly and finally the clutch master cylinder.

Can I adjust the clutch in a 2000 Acura integra

I believe these use a hydraulic clutch system in which case there is no adjustment and the clutch is probably worn out.

Clutch pedal travel is excessive. Sits about 2"

A clutch pedal takes MUCH more travel to function correctly, when compared to a brake system...

A clutch needs to be replaced (maybe) when it SLIPS, Chatters, Or fails to release...

Other than that, the clutch will need to be adjusted to allow for total release of the relese bearing when pedal is released, and full disengaugement when pedal is depressed....Have a mechanic look at the adjustement, as proper adjustment gives longer clutch life. This is a periodic adjustment item.

Hallo i have 1993 impreza turbo wrx EJ20, just realised i cant engage reverse gear until i switch off the car! i now suspect that i need to replace the entire clutch system, any advice on the best...

Ebay usually has the best prices on whatever clutch you decide to buy. Before you do though, there should be an adjustment at the clutch pedal. If you get a couple wrenches and unlock the clutch master pushrod adjuster nuts and effectively lengthen the pushrod, you can probably get a little more life out of the clutch you have now.
