It will differ depending on which tires you have on it. The easiest solution is to look right on the tire. It will have a PSI listing in small letters on the side of the tire, usually somewhere close to the rim. I have never seen a tire that didn't list the pressure right on it.
have a look up inside the carbereters if its down tuned it should have a washer with a hole in it behind each carb next to the manyfolds and it could also have smaller jets in the carbs as well

02-05 klf 250= in:0.15-0.20 mm
ex:0.18-0.23mm.
this should be about right for the E model as well.
both the kle 400 and kle 500 from 1991-2005 carried valve clearances of= in:0.13-0.18 mm
ex:0.18-0.23mm.
