If you can turn the plug out, you can go to a large size plug. If you can't get the plug to come out, take the outer primary cover off allowing the oil to drain out as you remove the outer cover. Sure it's messy but you've got no choice. Now with the cover off, push down on the plug while trying to turn it out. It'll probably come out doing this. Then measure it and get the next size bigger. Tap the hole to the bigger size and install new plug. Good Luck!
Testimonial: "wish you had a p/n for the bigger size plug, that would be awesome."
Now I don't know exactly which drain plug is in your bike now, I'm guessing a 1/2 X 20 thread. If so, go to Harley Part numbers 720, 706A, or 722. All are Harley parts and are plugs that have a 5/8" X 18 thread. Of course, you'll need a drill and tap for the hole. Usually the correct size tap is listed right on the tap. If not, consult a drill/tap sizing chart. Good Luck!
