Left handle cap

I took the end piece off of my Boulevard's (2008 C50) handle. It's the clutch side so it doesn't affect the throttle. but i can't get the damn thing back on! Any help?

How to replace starter on boulevard c50

It is a lot of work and there are no short cuts, as I tried what some other people offered????

You will need to remove, passenger seat, rider seat, positive battery cable, side covers, toolbox case cover,
Remove coolant cover case, drain coolant from reservoir, and remove to clean and inspect
Remove clutch cover, loosen all clutch play, then remove cable from lever to allow slack and it to be moved out of the way in the engine area.
Loosen hose to water pump and drain,
rear exhaust pipe and muffler ( saddle bag if applicable), you may have to loosen rear holding bolts for #1 muffler to allow play to disconnect the joint between the 2 mufflers,
Disconnect coolant tube housing (3 - 8mm bolts) in the back of the 2nd cylinder, there is also a 2 bolt angle joint to the coolant
Remove starter motor cover (7 mm wrench), remove the 2 bolts holding in the starter motorin and the lead to the starter motor. Starter motor needs to be played with, jiggle and pryed gently to remove( out the exhaust side) and similarly to install and reverse all other procedures.
To refill radiator undo tank bolt and pull back to reveal radiator cap at the top left side remove cap and add new fluid., other fluid can be added to the reservoir

2008 suzuki boulevard gears change good going up but not so good coming down

1. Is it a new bike for you? or do you own it for a while?
2. try checking the clutch. it might need tightning. try from the lever on the top. if you don't know how to, then ask a mechanic.

3. check if you need to "rev it up". when lowering a gear, you let go of the throttle, pull the clutch, give a quick twist of the throttle (pull and let go) while lowering a gear to match the rev's of the engine to the gear, and ease of the clutch off.

4. check you oil level. Some bikes are very sensitive to low oil. My v strom when hitting half, will start acting out with the gear.

I need to refill radiator on a 2007 suzuki boulevard c50 how?

To access the radiator cap, remove the seats, then the bolt at the rear of the gas tank. You should now be able to slide the entire tank and dash back enough to expose the cap on the left side of the frame. When replacing the tank, be careful not to knock loose the rubber buffers that slide into grooves on either side of the frame.

Suzuki C50 Boulevard (4k miles) backfires during deceleration when under pressure. (the clutch handle is not pulled or it has just released.) It really gives one loud POP! The rest is the usual sounds of...

Backfiring when the throttle is closed shows a lean mixture. Either you, or your mechanic should take a look at the mixture, and there's a 99% chance that that was the cause of your problem :)
