Piaggio fly 125 tries to start but then makes a constant noise like a car revving.

Hi,
Check these parts.....

• spark plug that might already fouled up and needs cleaning.
• spark from ignition coil, if there are no sparks the CDi got problem
• carburetor, check if there is a fuel going into the carb, choke it by hand, fuel moist must be seen on your hand. If not no fuel is flowing into the carb.
• check fuel filter if fuel is coming out continuosly.

It seems you had water leaking out which could be the result of a blown gasket. There is a strong possibility that the engine has seized up due to overheating and hence cause the belt to snap. I may be wrong but that is based on my experience. I hope that this helps. Good luck.

chec alternator for health--sounds like bearings are bad--du u gut a repair book for that model--git one online or checout library sec 629--its a basic component so othr manual can help u
